 Certification

Based on the highly successful Bombardier Regional Jet, the Bombardier Challenger 850 jet is certified by the FAA, JAA and Transport Canada, and is in operation in 30 countries.
The Bombardier Challenger 850 jet is certified to the following standards: 
• Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 25 at Amendment 25-62  
• Canadian Airworthiness Manual Chapter 525 at Change 1  
• Joint Aviation Requirements (JAR) Part 25 at Change 13  
• FAR 36 (Amendment 36-18) and ICAO Annex 16 (Second Edition - 1988) noise regulations  
• FAR 34 and ICAO Annex 16 (Second Edition - 1988) emissions regulations
