The fully integrated display consists of four 10 X 12 inch LCD displays that increase the viewing area by 55% for improved crew situational awareness. Each display is interchangeable, which facilitates troubleshooting and improves dispatchability.

The Bombardier Enhanced Vision System (BEVS) takes visibility to a new level of clarity in difficult weather conditions.

The BEVS consists of a forward looking, CMC Electronics CMA-2600i infrared sensor mounted in the nose area, which provides images of the approach, runway lighting and of terrain scenery that are displayed on the pilot's HUD and on the Co-pilot's MFD.

BEVS significantly increases situational awareness of pilots in difficult operating conditions such as low visibility and/or darkness. BEVS also enhances safety by helping to identify runway intrusions by vehicles, animals or other aircraft.
