The Component Repair and Overhaul manual provides data for the repair and overhaul of components and assemblies removed from the helicopter. The removal and installation procedures for components and assemblies contained in the Component Repair and Overhaul Manual are typically provided in the Maintenance Manual.

On the latest production helicopters such as the 429, a Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) is used to restore components to an airworthy condition.

The vendor data has been prepared by the manufacturers of those components and is supplied as a convenient source of component maintenance data.
