TECHNICAL BULLETINS (TB)

Technical Bulletins are issued to notify operators with information of a technical nature that does not affect safety of flight. Technical Bulletins typically provide information on product improvements, configuration changes, modifications, and may also be used to provide changes to inspection intervals or Time Between Overhauls (TBO).

INFORMATION LETTERS (IL)

Information Letters are used as a means to provide information which is not typically covered in other documentation. Information Letters may be issued to:
Discuss field problems and to highlight information already scheduled to be incorporated in existing documentation.
Notify operators of interchangeable or future spare part numbers.
Provide preliminary information of a forthcoming bulletin, fleet status, retrofit update, testing etc.
Notify operators of available or forthcoming vendor modifications.
Notify operators of changes in material finishes, protective coatings, etc.
