On the other hand, the cargo swing can damage the belly when landing in snow, and the fuel sump drain can also be activated. Ice on the bottom of the skids can reduce the effect of the stinger (the heel spring on the rear of the skid that reduces the tendency to ground resonance), and ice can cause problems in the tail rotor system hydraulics.
Be careful not to fill the rear baggage compartment too much, as you will restrict the tail rotor controls, which live just above it.
