Performance Class 3 helicopter. means a helicopter with performance such that, in case of power-unit failure at any point in the flight profile, a forced landing must be performed. Pilot in command means the pilot who is responsible for the operation and safety of an aircraft during flight time. Precision approach procedure means an instrument approach procedure utilising azimuth and glide path information Pressure altitude means an atmospheric pressure, expressed in terms of altitude, which corresponds to that pressure in the standard atmosphere Priority part means a part or assembly in a type certificated product, the failure of which is likely to cause an unsafe condition in an aircraft, aircraft engine or propeller: Product means an aircraft, aircraft engine, or propeller Progressive inspection means an inspection of a complete aircraft that is split into a number of smaller inspections Propeller means a device, for propelling an aircraft, that has blades on an engine-driven shaft and that when rotated produces by its action on the air, a thrust approximately perpendicular to its plane of rotation.
