An Instructor must maintain good relationship with his pupils. He should be a mentor, a guide and a friend.
He should be easily approachable and should be a keen listener to the problems and always be a pillar of support to his pupils.
He should be prepared to spend his precious time to render help to sort out the area of weaknesses, whenever required. In short, he should love his job and should always be ready to help and sort out his pupils’ problems.

6.1 MODERN CONCEPT OF TRAINING
In the evolution of flight training, in the early days a lot of emphasis was given to the radiometry skills and manipulations of controls and the use of mainly psychomotor skills. With the advancement of technology and the availability of highly sophisticated simulators, the major emphasis in airline operations is the crew concept rather than individual skill attainment.
The developing training technology synthesizes high fidelity aircraft simulation and high fidelity line operations simulation to provide realistic dynamic airline crew training with particular emphasis on command and resource management.
The new advanced simulators are capable of providing realistic simulator, resulting in the reduction of actual training on the aircraft. This results in overall training cost and allows the aircraft to be used for revenue operations.
