7.3  B737-800 SIMULATOR -EMERGENCY PROVISIONS AND ACTIONS IN THE EVENT OF FAILURES
7.3.1  Access to the Simulator
.  The drawbridge is Hydraulic operated and is sequenced with the Simulator motion system.
7.3.2  Safety Precautions
.  Confirm with the Simulator technician that it is safe to operate the motion.

.  If the control loading system is off ensure the crew are clear of the controls before engaging (especially the trim wheel).

.  All occupants should be seated with seat belt fastened before engaging the motion.

.  The motion will not engage unless the drawbridge gate is closed. Please keep the Simulator door closed at all times.

7.3.3  Inside the Simulator
.  The aircraft type extinguisher is fitted behind the First Officer on the CB panel.

.  Emergency lighting is provided inside and outside.

.  A torch is provided at the back of the Simulator cab.

.  A telephone is located at the Instructors Operating Station.

.  If the Simulator fire detection system is activated, Electrical and Hydraulics could be removed from the Simulator. Crew should evacuate the Simulator and building.

7.3.4  Leaving the Simulator
.  Operate the motion off button and wait until the motion settles before removing any seat belt.
